 Fall Internship Available. 
Summary: Opportunity to learn the Supply Chain department while assisting with administrative functions that support day-to-day fulfillment and long-term strategic supply agreements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  •  Assist with researching and vetting out new vendors for identified ingredients and packaging.
  •  Assist in the new raw material and packaging item set up and approval process.
  •  Assist in spec deviation process.
  •  Work independently on data compilation, organization, and presentation of vendor score cards.
  •  Research market data and compile info for commodity reports as needed.
  • Submit and track samples or new raw material and packaging items in development.
  •  Follow up on new item departmental sign off with stakeholders.
  •  Participate in vendor communication and relationship management.
  • Work with cross functional teams in coordinating test batches including documentation, samples and test setup.
  • Participate in Supply Chain meetings as needed.
  •  Other responsibilities with similar skill, work conditions, and responsibilities as assigned. 
Job Requirements – Experience, Knowledge, and Skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn X3, SharePoint, Tableau, and Safety Chain software programs.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and change focus as needed
  • Has a sense for urgency when necessary
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Good project management or organizational skills
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work and problem solve.
  • Maintain a positive attitude to continued learning and support of the overall business.
 Education and/or Experience                                            
Degree (B.A.) candidate from College or University or related experience; or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
