Description
Short term: Oversees all activities of the Warehouse department. Lead Supervisor(s) and key personnel to ensure the accurate, efficient and cost effective processing, storage, and delivery of raw goods for Production utilization.
Long term: Identify current and project future state of departments. Identify growth opportunities; both financially and operationally. Where is the department going, where do we want it to go, and how will we get there?
- In event of absence, position will be filled by equal level position, supervisor or appropriately trained supervisor designee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
- Lead Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving activities for the plant (Five Direct Report Supervisors)
- Drive Departmental performance in the areas of employee safety, food safety, performance, inventory accuracy, cost, and Employee Morale.
- Oversee “real time” inventory and processing requirement levels of raw ingredients; including Thaw, storage, staging, and in process locations.
- Ensure timely material delivery and coordination to and from production to drive efficient and effective process.
- Coordinate with external warehouse for timely and accurate receiving/shipping of Raw materials and Finished Goods.
- Collaborate with Internal and external Customers, including Production Planning, Procurement and Corporate Functional Leadership Team
- Responsible for the training, coaching, and Development of Departmental Personnel.
