Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the HR team by facilitating communication, onboarding, and area-based projects. Responsibilities include organizing large amounts of incoming documents and information, coordinating all elements of the onboarding/pre-hire process, etc. Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures and technologies to complete assigned duties while meeting company expectations.
Essential Duties:
- Crafts and sends comprehensive emails to new hires with information related to their orientation/on-boarding.
- Coordinate onboarding activities.
- Coordinates all on-boarding processes of new hires relative to pre-employment paperwork, background checks, drug screens and clearance of all hires.
- Maintain and track new hire records to include preparation of new personnel files.
- Filing and scanning of Human Resource and Personnel Records
- Maintain employee picture database.
- Ensures new hires have the necessary technical assistance to set up their hardware and software.
- Gathers, processes paperwork, and activates new hires in HRIS system (UKG)
- Process and file all I-9 documentation.
- Prepare and maintain employment records using HRIS system software (UKG)
- Assist employees with general Human Resource and Payroll issues.
- Audit/Maintain employee files/records (approved driver list, I-9 verification books, etc.)
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and 1-3 years of Administrative, HR, or Office Experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office Experience.
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must present a positive attitude and professional image.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload at a high level.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
