Summary – We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Business Analyst to join our technology project management/digital transformation team. This position will focus on learning and applying business analysis principles to document processes, identify gaps, gather requirements, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our business. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders, gaining valuable hands-on experience.  
Essential Duties: 
Business Process Documentation: 
  • Learn and assist in the analysis and documentation of current business processes within various departments.
  • Contribute to the creation of process maps, workflow diagrams, and related documentation.
Gap Analysis: 
  • Support the identification of gaps and inefficiencies in current business processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand and document areas for improvement.
Requirements Gathering: 
  • Work closely with business analysts and business stakeholders to assist in gathering and documenting requirements for process improvements.
  • Learn to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives.
Training Requirements: 
  • Assist in identifying training needs arising from process changes.
  • Support the development of training materials and coordination with the training team.
Test Planning and Execution: 
  • Learn to develop and execute test plans based on gathered requirements.
  • Contribute to the testing process, ensuring changes meet specified requirements.
Project Support: 
  • Provide support in managing small projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and align with project goals.
  • Collaborate with team members on cross-functional projects.
Stakeholder Interaction: 
  • Learn to interact with business stakeholders, gathering input and presenting findings.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings to gain exposure to stakeholder engagement.
Education and/or Experience   
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of business processes and analysis principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic business environment.
  • Familiarity with basic project management concepts is a plus.
