Summary This hands-on position reports to the Plant Manager and directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, upgrades, maintenance, and installation of machines, special projects, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings and grounds, by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates. In event of absence, position will be filled by equal level position, Supervisor or appropriately trained Supervisordesignee.
Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
Shift: 1st Shift
Requirements Include:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Maintenance leadership field. Minimum Five (5) Years of Experience as a Maintenance Manager in a high speed consumer Product Goods (CPG) Industry. Food Background preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Control systems
- Understanding of building Utilities and ammonia refrigeration system incl Process Safety Management (PSM) program
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding Organization and leadership skills esp in People engagement and development.
- Ability to plan, forecast and manage Departmental budget.
- Lead and Manage Facility Engineering Capital projects.
- Lead Reliability Based Maintenance organization. Ability to take CRL or CRMP certification within first 12-18 months.
- Bachelors degree in engineering or similar discipline.
